behind the treatments
Kiara Galbreath BSc(Math)BSc(Anat/Physiology) McGill U  was completing her specialty in Internal Medicine at the MontreaL General Hospital when her career was cut short by a bicycle accident which left her with extensive disability, head injury and spinal cord injury. She was unable to work as a doctor and had to leave her career in medicine behind. When she was told that she was going to have permanent disability from her injuries, she decided to explore other methods of therapy and threw herself into an extensive program involving many different types of “complementary” therapy including chiropractic, acupuncture, homeopathy, craniosacral therapy, massage, lymph drainage, clinical nutrition, reiki, traditional Chinese medicine to name a few.

When she realized the potential that these therapies have for improving chronic debilitating conditions when done well, she elected to learn about how to incorporate some of them together. Over the past fifteen years, she has started her own business, Integrative Touch Incorporated in which she incorporates the expertise of a variety of professionals to make a plan which will be effective and potentially have long lasting effects for each individual. She has been actively pursuing new methods of  conditions for which medicine has few options.

She has been active in the community participating in the development of the Aldershot Business Community and of Performing Arts Burlington. She is now on the board of a non-profit group called Elder Connect which is set up as a vehicle to provide elderly people with the services they need to remain independent and able to participate in the community.

Thermography Clinic

Thermography detects hidden inflamation.

Clinics are held once a month.
Please contact our office for dates.

Medical thermography is a non invasive clinical procedure for detecting & monitoring a number of diseases, & physical injuries, by showing thermal abnormalities present in the body.

Thermography uses ultra sensitive medical infrared camera & sophisticated computers to detect, analyze, and produce high-resolution images, of these temperature variations.

Thermography creates a digital map of your body that illustrates heat patterns – patterns that may detect some condition or abnormality. Just as unique as a fingerprint, each patient has a particular infrared map. Any modification of this infrared map on images taken over time, may constitute an early sign of abnormality.

Medical thermography is filling the gap in clinical diagnosis, as CT scans, ultra sounds and MRI are all tests of anatomy. There is NO touching, NO radiation, NO pain involved with Thermography.

Thermography’s best use is its ability to detect subtle, vascular, & physiological change, that if left unattended, may become a degenerative disease.
